5dmk3 day one tweaks...JPG adjs i.e -Light Optimizer, iso adjustments, etc&othrs

Anything you turn off/on day one of receiving your new 5dmk3? I turned off the light optimizer but noticed a few others i was not familiar with. I think iso related?

I hate how you have a few options, usually low, med, high. I find myself turning them all off, otherwise im obsessed with how it may or may not affect my shots.

Any recommended on or off settings suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's a good idea to determine what settings affect RAW files versus JPGs. Many settings are applied to the JPG in the camera, whereas RAW files are not affected. Example is white balance.

I should have specified this applies to jpg, not raw. Wanted to toss it around since im not shooting raw until there is better software support, I wanted to see what people left enabled or disabled and why.

Any setting canon offers in camera for jpg can be applied to raw in pp using canon software. i.e. auto light optimizer.

some more, highlight tone priority, high iso speed NY, long exp noise reduction. Do you use any particular picture style?

I know one thing i like is being able to custom prefix my images. A little getting used to will be the zoom on playback, im so used to the top right buttons vs. the new left side mag glass.

Does the ISO NR affect the raw file at all?

For, Jpegs, they are at the correct default settings, at least for a starting point. None of the default settings affect the raws, except, of course, raws are off by default.

I just noticed when you change settings to no jog and only raw all these settings are still available, which I guess with canons software can be easily disabled once in your computer, giving the anility to see what's worth it.
