As Hillsilly said CameraPro have in stock, plus a few grey importers have had them a while. No real point buying from a chain store, it's not like they'll give you any decent support themselves and if you go with a company that sells things with a Canon Australia warranty I can't think of much disadvantage buying interstate. If you do want decent local support (not just warranty) maybe try a few smaller local independent Canon dealers.

Ordered mine in Myer last week with a $15 off every $75 spent, PLUS $10 extra for every $100 gift card, PLUS the $300 rebate for kit lens (24-105)
all up 6D + 24-105 = $2590 or something
Came in on Tuesday, been using it since. Highly recommend it.

Yeh I saw continental had it on their webpage but I called them up and they said they had no idea when it would come in. Sounds like the sales guy had no idea wat he was doing haha. Thanks for the feedback guys might start annoying some stores to see who can get me the best deal

Thanks for the information, but no, I won't - at least the Amazon price is up to €2099(!) from €1999 Canon retail, I guess that's the "dumb early adopters fee". If I buy the 6d then not until it's below €1900, i.e. after the initial rush when competition sets in.

That's a lie. Just shop around! If you go to a JB Hi-Fi near you, they'll most likely have it. The JB Hi-Fi I work at here in Sydney (Penrith area) sells 6Ds now.fattonee88 said:

My safest bet is a JB Hi-Fi store, and they'd most likely order it interstate if they don't have any in stock in your state.

Funny u got it from teds cause their the ones who told me they don't expect it til march. Tried 2 jb hifi just yesterday both said they got no idea when it would be in. I think I'm just stuck wit dodgy stores near me haha. Thanks for the feedback guys. At least I now know they do exist so I will just keep asking...

They should be able to order it in a 6D from different stores. What state are you in? The one I work at has 3 in stock if I remember correctly.fattonee88 said:
