LOL But there were only 9 AF points.

I agree! No EC was kind of strange w/ auto ISO.

EC in M mode with Auto ISO is relatively new to Canon bodies. The 1D X didn't have it at launch, it was added with the v2 firmware in early 2014.

It did not take long for me to decide to upgrade to the new Mark II and keep the old Mark I as my spare / alternate body.
The 6D has served me very well even though I cussed out the lame focus system (previous body was 70D).
Time to place an order...

I read the manual since I'm on the pre-order list at my local camera store and I was pleasantly surprised to see that I can now do timed bulb exposures (meaning exposures longer than 30s). Makes my Milky Way shots easy even without an intervalometer. Nice bonus in addition to the features I was really looking forward to such as the DP Liveview touchscreen focusing. I'm expecting the high ISO performance to at least match the 5D Mark IV. If that happens I expect to be very happy with the upgrade.

That's really nice. They throw out this feature out of the 1dx2 Do you know anything about thermal noise of the 6d2?
