So how much trouble am I in? :-[ I sent a 70-200 F2.8L IS lens into Canon just before Christmas for repair. They ended up replacing the IS motors and a few other bits. What originally prompted me to send it was the casing was loose (starting to separate). I picked it up from the shop a few weeks later and dropped $860 on the repair. I gave it a quick look over, snapped a few pictures to test the IS and it all looked fine. Like a fool I didn't put the glass through its paces until last week. I shot two soccer games and immediately noticed the focus was off (not enough to see on the view screen) and had to toss about 80% of the pictures. I've never had any issues like this before. The camera was in manual mode, IS turned off, and focus set to AI Servo. After messing around with it I can see it ever so slightly falling in and out of focus on static objects.

What do you guys think? Canon's warranty period on repaired glass is only 90 days. If I had to guess I just tossed a good chunk of change into the wind. Thanks...
