7D Mark II Battery

I have a Canon 5D Mark III with 4 additional batteries. Just wondering if it will fit the 7D Mark II.
Mark III uses LP-E6 and 7D Mark II uses LP-E6N. Appearance look the same though.

The batteries are interchangeable and will fit the 7D Mark II and also the 7D classic.

The only difference between LP-E6N and LP-E6 is that the latter will allow you some more shots per charging cycle. Other than that, there seem to be no functional differences.

Appearance, size and voltage are the same...

The newer battery was updated to comply with current Li-On safety requirements and uses a different chemistry. It has a tiny bit more capacity, but not enough to matter.
