7D2 Firmware update???

Wasn't there an announcement of a firmware update for the 7D Mark II?? That should come "early next week"?
Now we have already mid week of this "next week".
Does it still come or was it just a false information?

There was a rumor that someone got told that an AF problem could be (possibly) solved with a new FW.
But no announcement. Neither from Canon nor from canonrumors.com (and of course they can only spread announcements but not do them themselves )

give them too friday if not saturday
if no new firmware then it was BOGUS story or canon said that too an annoying costumer who send there 7d2 in but still had problem bka (a shut them up comment)
