A Canon equal

I was talking to a friend of mine and we discussed the specs on a Nikon P900. The zoom length sounds amazing. Does Canon have anything equal to this either now or soon to be released?

The SX60 HS is close, 65x zoom range, same size sensor. The SX60 starts at 21mm vs 24mm equivalent FL, which some (me included) would find more useful than the long end. The max aperture of the P900 is wider (f/2.8 vs. f/3.4), but these variable aperture superzoom lenses narrow down quickly, and a small sensor like that won't give very good subject isolation in any case.

Besides the obvious IQ question, the big thing to evaluate is the usability. Can it be handheld and get usable photos at the extreme zoom? I've had 3 Canon SX 50's and each one acted differently with long focal lengths, my current one is just OK, I plan to use it next week on a short vacation, if weather permits.
