Hi everyone,

I had an engagement shoot today and near the end of it my 70-200 2.8 IS starting having AF trouble.
The closer to INFINITY I would try to focus the more It would struggle.
I couldn't even manual focus to that far.

Then When I got home later it was working fine.
But now it's having the issue again.

Camera repair shops are closed today, so I thought I'd see if anybody has any insight into this issue.
Thanks so much!

OH, and here are a couple from the shoot for those interested.

Intermittent could mean dirty contacts, but I really doubt it. I'd get it packed to ship out tomorrow morning, or to take to a local camera shop if thats what you prefer.
You might want to rent a replacement if you need it right away.

Yeah, it's tricky.
November and December are really busy and renting is expensive.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to call the Canon-Approved repair shop in the morning to see what they think.
A shame there isn't some quick fix. :D
