Amazon Bestsellers and 5D3

Saw over on Nikon Rumors that the d800 is 10th on Amazon's Bestsellers list. At the time of the post, they claimed the 5D3 was 83rd. But now - I don't even see it in the top 100...

The D800 is first followed by the 5D MK III. Considering that the D800 has been announced longer, it stands to reason it would be higher, using Amazon't ranking method.

Also note that they break out the 5D MK III with kit as a separate item(#15). If you put them together, it might be first.

Its great how you can twist stastics to suit your viewpoint.

Note: in 30 minutes, the 5D MK III fell to #3. Their count must be very volatile.

Nikon d800/e has been available for pre-order longer and was just put back up by Amazon Friday for additional orders. Prior to that Canon 5dmk3 (body only) was #1 in camera category.
