Just chatted with the CS @ Amazon.com. Look like whoever order from Amazon.com won't able to get they camera at least until next week.

From the CS: "I am sorry, I tried to get the date for, But we don't have the dates right now, But we are expecting the item to be shipped by the next week, and once the order ships we will inform you about it."

Waiting and waiting... and now more waiting...

I hear ya. I just got done chatting with them too and they told me that their fulfillment center doesn't have it yet and are still waiting on the manufacturer to send it to them. I'm wondering if I cancel now and order through B&H or Adorama, if it'll show up sooner than Amazon. :-\

I wouldn't cancel. I know the temptation. I was hoping so much to be using it this weekend, but Amazon has still not updated my 5D3 order status.

But unless I buy it locally (and get lucky) there's no way I would get it on time. Any order placed now would come later than your current order with Amazon.com.
