After a very long time that seemed like eons of high fog, cloudy skies and simply crappy light, the weather was finally nice again, and I had fun taking photos in this autumn of 2024.

The top one. For me it is compositionally pleasing whereas the lower one, in comparison, is somewhat jarring.

I prefer the first one. The branches create a frame or window that pulls my eye back from wandering around the edges. In the second photo, the leaves being centered pretty much cements my eye there and doesn't permit me to examine the rest of the photo.
