Hey all
posted in another thread but thought I'd make my own because I'm selfish and want all the attentions! Haha.
I'm a noob. But I've been using my t3 and 50mm 1.8 quite a lot over this summer and the last. Quite happy with them. Here's a few photos I've been taking, I almost only do automotive photography. It's what I love! I know I'm not very good don't be too harsh!
Sorry if these are too big! I'm posting Off my iPhone. Not the best photos and not all crisp and in focus, especially the r32 vw.
I recently picked up a canon 10-18 as my first wide angle and it's WIDE! Compared to my 1.8 it's much harder to use and will take some getting used to for sure.
My current dilema is this. There's a used 70d in my area for $600cad, seems to be in great shape I went to look at it last night and am thinking about it a lot. For just general car photography do you guys see the 70d as a big improvement than my older t3? I feel like the t3 is limiting me slightly because of the not so great autofocus vs the 70d's far superior system. But is it gonna be much an improvement for me for stills like the ones above?
I've been told that the 70d won't offer me much of a difference. Except of course for build quality, ergonomics and autofocus. I'm not making any money and not printing my shots, really I'm only processing in Lightroom and a little photoshop if needed, then straight onto Instagram or Facebook.
Thanks for your insight!!!
