BG-E11, anyone?

Has anyone gotten the BG-E11 yet? I ordered one on March 6th from B&H and it's still in backordered status. I called today and was told they did not know when it would be available. I'm so used to shooting with a vertical grip my 5d3 feels completely dinky without it - especially with big heavy glass mounted..

Nobody does... Canon said it will be out at the end of April.

Where did canon state this? I'd not have ordered it so soon if I knew its release would be so far off.
