camera shops in america

Hi everyone,
I'm going to go to america in a week in a half and I am wondering where I can get some camera gear. I am looking at buying a manfrotto 496rc2, I've had a look online at places like adorama and B&H but they do not have stores and I'm abit cautious about something going wrong and then I will not get it before I leave. Im going to be in florida and im actually going to disneyland. Does anyone know any good stores there that I can visit?

B&H and Adorama do, indeed, have brick-and-mortar stores, in New York City, and while I see you're going to Disneyland, the B&H Superstore is like Disneyland for photographers.

I wouldn't worry about problems with a 496rc2 - a ballhead is completely mechanical and pretty simple, so if it works when you open the box, it's fine.

Harmon Camera is a pro camera store in Orlando, is pretty well recommended. Call them and discuss the cameras you are interested in, and maybe ask if they will hold one for you if you give them a deposit. Cameras go in and out of stock, so there is no guarantee that they will have what you want unless you can work out something.
