Canon 5D mark 3 raw files cannot open in Capture one & Photoshop CS5

Would i only be able use Lightroom 4 to process my files? Or if i upgrade my capture one & photoshop it would work? I don't want to spend money on updating my software when it doesn't end up working!

Hi James,
Capture one, I don´t know but Photshop CS5 works well with 5DIII raws. You only need Camera Raw 6.7.
It combines CS5 compatibility and and supports the new raw process version from LR 4.
I´m not sure if this is still available on the Adobe website and may this doesn´t work with cameras only supported by LR >4.1.

5D3 support was added in Capture One v6. The current version of CO is 7. I don't know if there is a way to add camera support to older versions, you might ask on their forum.

Upgrade your software to install the latest updates. there is no cost unless you change versions.. I know it works in CS5, you did not tell us what version of Capture one you have. Also update to Lightroom 4.3.
