Canon 70-200 ii Focus Breathing Numbers

Interesting Video I found that puts some Math behind the focus breathing of the Canon, Tamron, and Nikon 70-200mm lenses.
The Canon Breathes Outwards while the others breaths inwards. The crazy thing is the Nikon 70-200 VRii breaths down to 135mm at 7 ft while the Canon Breaths out to 229mm.

Does this make a difference to anyone in real life?
