This was very interesting, I wasn't surprised to see the 200-400 as the wildlife favourite and it was really interesting reading about favourite images.

I agree very interesting. I noted that the wildlife folks had pretty much the same lens recommendations. The motorsports shooter gave just about the same recommendations also. I could see the 200-400 as being a favorite due to the extender and the weight savings in travel offered by a zoom tele.
