I got this lens too, gonna be having some fun with it this summer

This lens is FAR too much fun. Slow focus? Who cares, the image quality is unbeatable. I use it in the studio and for low-light portraits all the time.

I haven't seen much on it, but another photog I met using the lens says the focus is faster on his 5D3.
Is this true to anyone else here? I thought this was only the case with the 1DX and certain lenses

I'm currently shooting with 5D III - AF speed is not quite fast. However, this lens produces wonderful photos for me. JPEG straight out from camera, no PP. Only resized.
