Canon EOS-1D X Firmware 2.0.8

[Canon Rumors]

A few weeks ago <a href="http://www.canonrumors.com/canon-eos-1d-x-firmware-2-0-8-spotted/">we reported that firmware version 2.0.8</a> for the EOS-1D X had been installed by Canon service on a few cameras in Europe. However, we still haven’t seen a downloadable firmware update for the camera.</p>
<p>A reader of the site sent us an image of the new firmware on his EOS-1D X, so I imagine we’re going to see a downloadable firmware soon.</p>
<p>We’re still unsure what’s been updated in the new firmware.</p>

According to a mail reply of Canon Germany the Firmware 2.0.8 will be released in Sept. '15

The Firmwareupdate fixes a problem during half pressing the release-button of the camera.

The recently released canon bodies 5ds,7dii have an auto ISO feature that lets you select up to +-3 stops for the shutter speed in Av and p mode. Its very useful when using "is" equipped lenses. I would look for that to be added in this firmware.

I have not had any issues with the camera and Windows 10 but perhaps Canon has done something there.

I think we should be kinder to "aclectasis" they obviously suffer from Dyslexia and cannot tell that a thread about 1DX Firmware does not relate to little cameras from Sony.

I hope Canon also updates the firmware of 5D3 to include newly released lenses profiles.

I hope Canon also updates the firmware of 5D3 to include newly released lenses profiles.

If it's for vignetting and ca in camera correction you mean, just use
DPP and you can simply choose the ones you want as much as you like anytime 8)

Not really I was just concerned by your lack of reading skills - you really need help with this.

As to Sony cameras (which you are obviously a fan of) they are great for some uses but simply useless to me - I have tried them and they are too slow, too fragile, AF is a joke etc etc, though IQ is nice.

Please get someone to read this for you so that you don't look like a fool if/when you reply. I am not having a go at you, I am concerned for you and your well-being.
