I've been debating the T3i (waiting on the T4i) and the 60D but put the 7D out of contention because of the cost. Is this a too good to pass up discount?

I decided it was far too good to pass up -- outstanding value.

Since the price is SO low I also called to verify that it is a NEW unit -- not refurb or return or open box or any of that stuff. They say it's new product.

So, I have one on the way.

Whoa! That was fast. I can't believe I was lucky enough to pull the trigger on the 70-300 this a.m. (Not gloating, just kind of stunned because I usually hem and haw and miss out on these sorts of things).

Hope it will be back or other vendors will follow suit for the sake of those who didn't get in on it.

Thanks CR. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on 7D upgrade from my 40D and was kicking myself for not taking advantage of the recent refurbished 7d sale.

I am thrilled to get a great price on new in time for the summer soccer season.

Pretty amazing.

It seems the sale lasted 12 hours or less, Sunday night and early Monday morning. You could buy a 7D for $1199. Now at Adorama and B&H, the price is $1549. A $350 difference!
