I took the images off Canonpricewatch.com and canonrumors.com. Sensor size is the same as G1X. Height is 64.6mm, Width is 106.2mm, 28.8 thick. 3" screen, normal hotshoe size. Almost same size and Nikon J1 with 10mm..

Attached is everything resized to actual size at 300dpi. Enjoy, check my math, all done of 43mm lens cap.

You have to remember the sensors rarely take up the whole area. The blue all the way around the sensor is not the sensor. If you measure edge to edge it would be APS-C, I included the actual numbers according to photoshop, ignoring the green it is definitely G1X sensor size. Zoom in check it out.

I still wait until some funny troll would prepare some good fake photos for the next announcement. If it was the case now, on Mondat they'd have sooo much fun with all these measures and assumptions.

You'd still expect the "blue" to have the same aspect ratio as the actual sensor though and that "blue" looks 3:2 to me not 4:3.

That 22mm lens converts to a 35mm equivalent if it's an APS-C format camera. If it's a GX-1 size, that makes it the equivalent of a 40mm FF lens. A 35mm equivalent makes a lot more sense to me.

In any case, this camera holds no appeal for me. Another "me too" mirrorless with no viewfinder. What's the sense in carrying a compact camera that requires a tripod?
