At the same time there's this old Canonrumors post with basically same specs, as somebody pointed out on DPR.
So either they used those on Adorama (again, why would they unless it's a sabotage?), or both lists came from the same source, likely Canon.

As you stated, it’s a word-for-word copy of what CR posted. Including, “Enhanced dynamic range, better than EOS R3 and EOS R5,” which is nothing like Canon-speak.

That’s fine, I formally purchased the 1DX series bodies, just sold my R3… if Canon doesn’t want my money Sony can continue to widen their lead. I’m not the only one that’s thinking this.

It depends on how exactly the original spec sheet from Canon looked like.
It doesn't need to be an exact copy-paste, it could be an interpretation of a more technical spec sheet from Canon not usable as a product description.
"0.8 ms" could've been retyped as "0.8 microseconds". Also, both spec sheets from Canonrumors and from Adorama could be coming from the same source.

Feel free to keep believing. Some of the specs are reasonable, but the R1 is clearly not going to have an APS-C sensor or a 0.8 µs readout speed....and Petapixel also apparently believes the latter. They seem to have missed the fact that Adorama's spec list is a copy-paste from a CR rumor post.It depends on how exactly the original spec sheet from Canon looked like.

And if the rumoured delays of the R1 are true, the R5II might even have newer hardware and software than the R1/

For me R5ii v R1 v My R5 - is going to depend on the sensor megapexels. If the R5ii or R1 turn out to be 60MP+ then I'll jump but so far I haven't seen much to encourage me to upgrade my R5.

It'll be interesting to see the actual specs and compare later on. 0.8us and APS-C are minor misprints.
Things like 30Mpix sensor and 1/1250s sync time are very particular so we will see the discrepancies right away.

Being deliberately naive here: the CR article could be accurate because the source(s) had correct and real info. Which would make the Adorama copy/paste job accurate by association
