Canon EOS R5 Mark II deliveries have already started

Just got an email from B&H that my R5MII was shipped today and will arrive on 09/21 so will have it for my Greenland trip

Just heard from Wex, my R5ii will arrive tomorrow! I ordered within 5 minutes and sadly Wex didn't get as many cameras as they were expecting today. Hopefully more will arrive soon....

No emails for me regarding the Cooling Grip and extra battery. I'm sure they'll start printing labels by the end of the day if you're first wave and ship first thing in the morning.

I ordered on the 30th July and was told by WEX would probably be a few weeks after initial launch as they had a few hundred in front of me. Going by Kerry’s post that they didn’t get as many as they expected, I’m not hopeful of getting one prior to my Asia trip on 21st September.

I just put larger preorders on a card with a limit sufficient for several R1's, so I don't need to worry about holds.

I buy through my local dealer who gives me a call when the product comes in (and sends an email) and I have 24 hours to pay or the next person on the list gets the call and I lose my reservation.

If I'm in town, I drive down and pick it up. If not, I give them my card number and shipping address and it arrives where I am the next day. Really nice that time I was waiting for a lens for months and had the surprise of being able to use it on a vacation I'd already left on days earlier.

Got a mail today that my order has been processed and will be available for collect at my local WEX when convenient for me. During the meanwhile, my trusty old R5/100-500 is shooting flying raptors with remarkable precision.

I ordered an R5MII 6:16am EDT on 6/17. A short while later I ordered an extra battery, then yet another battery order on 8/12. This morning my card got charged for all the orders. The batteries have shipped, camera still processing. Stuff happens...B&H has always been reliable by me, I don't recall the last time an order had a problem. Just wish it was the batteries that got delayed and not the camera

Still shows "Processing" this evening. Hope this is just a glitch and that it ships tomorrow. I'm going to miss a few photo ops if there was some other problem and I have to wait until the next wave.

I ordered from Clifton on camera announcement/launch day after about an hour after the live event (forgot to set my reminder). Found out Im 12th in the queue, but they only received 3 units in their warehouse and they expect they wont be shipping mine until September/October (obviously things may move either way).
