Canon EOS R7 Mark II & EOS R6 Mark III Announcement Delays?

But You get more DOF at the same f-stop if You use an APSC. At all there is no advantage to neither FF nor APSC:
Tested it with a DOF calculator: same pixel count (eg 24mpx), same AOV, same picture size, same distance. Both cameras set to the DLA, You get the same DOF.
You get more DoF at the same f-number because you're using a shorter focal length, and thus have a narrower entrance pupil at the same f-number, to get the same AoV.

But in the case (rain forest) in the comments above, it's being proposed to use the same focal length with a crop sensor to get a narrower AoV, in which case the higher enlargement ratio means the APS-C camera will have shallower DoF.

So if those new cameras will be announced as soon as possible then i will have three options to choose from:

R5 MarkII
R6 MarkIII
R7 MarkII

As i mentioned in some topics, i want two bodies for sports and birding/wildlife, one is main and the other is backup, for each field, If the prices are good then i will be able to add a zoom RF lenses maybe although i can still use my EF lenses, i am not much aware of all those features and performances people are talking about, i was doing just fine in the past with DSLRs, so i don't think i will be disappointed with mirrorless now.

I have an R5m2 and an R7. I have them both set up the same - with C1, C2, and C3 set for
different purposes. C3 is for birding (shutter preferred). C1 is for landscapes (aperture preferred). And
C2 is "general" (and very close to original/as delivered settings). The R7 is used mostly for the
landscapes. The R5m2 is used for birding. I do not do video. Each camera can back up the
other should one 'act up' (hasn't so far).
My biggest gear improvement was when I got the RF 100-500. My second biggest improvement
was when I went to LrC. The R5m2 was a step up - but not as large as the other two. I'm primarily
a birding photographer (no video).

Ok, i can wait a bit longer, not in rush, i will see those R6III and R7II reviews first, most likely one of them i will get, then another one it will depend on my budget later, either R5II or R3.
