My sentiments exactly. I don't want to be ungrateful, but I can't help thinking 'that's it?' after reading the changelog in the description. It never pays to have expectations with these type of things. Still, pixel shift should be a fun tool to play with for a few days and see if it's useful.
Yeah, it's Pixel shift + network saving and the emergency hot fixes from the R6 firmware. Unless '
5. Fixes minor issues.' does some really heavy lifting!
My assumption was that for an allegedly 'big' firmware update we'd get a buch of the software improvements we've seen in newer bodies, like tracking in all AF modes, resizable zones and auto subject detect.
Still, this update is more than I expected for firmware updates almost 3 years into owning an R5, so I'm pretty happy with it. Not cancelling my R8 preorder, though
