Canon store vs retailer...who ships the quickest?

I'm looking to get the R5 or R6, depending on the price. Who has the cameras quickest to ship...the Canon Store or someone like B&H?

I've found Adorama to be very reliable. Some have had issues with B&H because they get so many orders. I learned to avoid Amazon. If you order immediately, B&H or Adorama are fine. I've never ordered a new introduction direct from Canon. If you have a local dealer, check with them. They will likely get you one faster. Dealers may have them a day or 2 early in some cases so they can start deliveries on the official first day.

With delivery services overloaded, a lower priority product like a camera may take longer, and warehouses may need to take longer to pick and pack.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm hopefully going on a tropical trip in July and would like a newer Canon camera. Hopefully the airlines will be back up!

You might be able to leave the US, but getting back in?? August, maybe, September is a safer bet. Some parts of the world are remote and the virus has yet to peak. 2 months after the peak, things may be OK. I don't expect to actually see a camera until August.

I doubt that either the R5 or R6 will be available in July.
