No news regarding the wide angle primes??Really looking forward to these…

Got my RF line up nearly complete apart from a wide angle prime. Got an Irix 15mm, Canon ef 24mm 1.4 L, Tamron 35mm 1.4 and I am ready to sell all 3 of them for one new wide RF L prime. Hoping for a 28mm 1.4 but will also settle for a 24mm 1.4.
Just doing portrait work and the occasional landscape shot. Got the 50mm 1.2 and now the 135mm 1.8 as I sold my RF 70-200 2.8.

So 28mm, 50mm, 135mm would be my holy trinity. Fingers crossed they'll soon announce something!

Speculative:
We were all hoping for a Q1 announcement and mid summer release. Now it's looking more like a Q2 announcement and early fall release.
Considering that it usually three months from announcement to shipping, if Canon doesn't announce them somewhere within the next month, they won't be available in the summer time...

Which is optically and mechanically a superb lens. If only it hadn't such an erratic AF on Canon's DSLRs...
Plus, while it’s technically a zoom lens I’d say that a 0.46x zoom range is practically not really a zoom.

I wonder how many people have bought both the 24/1.4L and 35/1.4L, or both the RF 24/1.8 and RF 35/1.8. I’d bet very few.

I'm happy enough about 14mm f/1.4L but my heart goes out to @roby17269

Adapt on RF bodies will work the best.

I've got both EF L mark 1...However I've to be honest I don't bring both at the same time....Some compact 24-35 f2 for RF mount would be nice.

Thank you kind sir :)
My heart is closed right now. I refuse to believe this rumor (the part about the 35mm at least) until we get a more solid one.
If true I may vote with my wallet, as I do, and not buy it (n). Maybe the 28 will be a nice new thing to try.
But I really want the 35 and for it to be a 1.2
In the meantime, still waiting for my 10-20 f/4 and 200-800 to ship...
