I am sorry, but I love 28mm.
not to wide, not too narrow.

If i want 35 or 50mm point of view. I can just crop it.
cropping is totally fine with me.

But I still want what F1.4 Depth of field could give.
I find 35mm still narrow for my liking and style.

I have Canon 28mm 1.8 + 6D with me.

I love the 28mm focal length and I imagine Canon will make a 28/1.4L some day. But I'm actually quite happy with the 28/2.8 IS. A new high quality 28/2.0 would be great if it offered better quality than the current 28/1.8 USM.

I can sympathize, and found it odd that Canon hasn't ever made an EF 28mm f/1.4 (that I know of).

However, there are other choices. Zeiss makes a 28 mm f/2.

If you want to get an adapter, you could seek out one of these Nikon lenses...it's supposedly the sharpest 28mm f/1.4 ever made.

If you are using this with a crop camera, then Sigma will soon release an updated version of their 30mm f/1.4. I've tried the version 1, and it had enticing, warm color...but wasn't very sharp toward the borders until closed down a lot.

No need to be sorry for loving 28mm. (unless you mean sorry that the 1.4 does not exist) :)
It is all up to your shooting style.

If you are shooting crop, then Sigma is there for , as already mentioned.
But for FF, I guess you have to put your hopes to Tamron, that have said they will go for fast primes next.
If you have a NEX, you could try the EF50/1.8 or EF28/2.8 with Metabones adapter?
