Are there members here who have experience with both lenses (the Canon/Nikon versions)? I read that the 28 has quite some field curvature whereas the 25 gives a "flat" image. Is there a (big) difference in look of these two lenses wide open? FOV is obviously nearly identical, but are there other noticable differences?

Re: Distagon 25mm f/2.0 vs. 28mm f/2.0

You are going to have to clarify which lenses you are talking about before you can get a clear answer. Distagon is a style of lens for all I know you could be comparing the Batis 25 f 2.0 to the Sony 28 f 2.0 or some other lenses entirely.

I'm sorry. I will edit my post / question :)
