CP+ 2015: Canon shows off prototype 120MP CMOS sensor

I'm sure we have seem a 120mpx APS-H sensor before:

The bit that caught my attention was:

As stated in the article, the bit about on-chip ADC is pure speculation by DPR.

Every spec listed is exactly the same as the 2010 announcement, leading me to make the obvious conclusion that this is the same unit, dusted off and rolled out again to bolster the high-MP excitement brought by the 5Ds/R.
