CPN: David Noton on the new EF11-24mm lens

It's an interesting article. A landscape photographer who doesn't even mention once the word "filter". The new zoom lens doesn't accept any kind of filter. Maybe I'm old-fashioned and with the improved DR of the new Canon sensors you can fix all blown out skies later on. Oh wait, they didn't improve DR in 8 years or so...

I'll stick to my TS-E lenses - all of them offer shift and the use of filters. I can't remember a landscape shot in the daytime in the last couple of years where the use of filter(s) or shift for perspective correction or both would not have helped to improve the shot. But maybe I'm biased because of the available equipment at hand.
