FINALLY!!! The night when suddenly all the specs and pics are revealed, perhaps as a result of the expire of the NDA. Now the 12 hour countdown to the Shanghai event!!! Can't wait for Canon to explain how this new baby is a game changer with speed and quality. I sure hope it would have a better metering/shutter life like the Nikon. That said the new 5D is not in the same breed as the D800, they go in different directions. Would Canon bring out a high MP '3D' that is actually competing against the D800 besides the 4K camera?

The 61-pts AF and 6fps are sure killer features, and is more than enough. 6.9fps or higher than that is simply an overkill. I wish it is capable of controlling the new 600/590EX through radio as well, mentioned at phototips.com. Be sure to watch Craig and James' live show 11pm EST tonight!
