It's too bad I won't touch another Lexar card.

I have 3, 32GB and 1 64GB 1066x cards sitting here waiting for me to send them back to Lexar for replacement. Thankfully I haven't lost any data.. well, for the most part (second half of a football game after thankfully I had already submitted for deadline.) I turn off my camera before removing and eject after ingesting via photomechanic with a Lexar USB3 reader with latest firmware and still kill cards with Canon cameras.

I have been using various Lexar cards, both cf and sd, for many years in pro use, and I've never had a problem.
Their small usb3 card reader is really good too, especially when your downloading 90gigs of video.

I've had many many Lexar as well as Sandisk cards with no failures over almost 20 years. Failures can happen, but its often a result of a bad card reader, not the card itself.

I'd keen to get one 128GB per camera at that price point if it was 1066x.

That was my initial thought too. But then I realised with two 64GB 1066X I never fill them both and the 1D X Mark II is likely to be CFast so I won't buy anymore cards until then.
