I remember seeing a post for the 24-105 for $599 a few days ago, but thought that might have been a new one. Does anyone remember if the previous post was for a new or used lens?

Beats me. But yeah, that Adorama one is a refurb. Now, I did find this new white box import though for $585:

Correct me of I'm wrong, but Canon will honor warranties on imported lenses, but not imported cameras, correct?

Very useful information! Thank you! I was hesitant to buy the eBay 6D because I knew that there was some controversy with some "Chinese" 6Ds that had missing features being sold for less, but I wasn't sure what it was. That article answered all my questions!

The eBay 6D that is linked in another thread claims to have wifi and GPS. This means it is not the "N" version that lacks those features (or at least it claims to not be, and I can call their bluff if they send me an N version).

You're quite welcome. I have a 6D and it takes magnificent photos if you can nail focus. Right now (Sunday) you can pick up a 6D + a Canon printer for $1249 from B & H, so no need to buy gray market.
