Freshly hatched four-spotted chaser (libellula quadrimaculata).
Not as sharp as the scarce chaser, but close.
Note at the last pic the deformation at the right wing pair. Seems that the fly-by-wire system will need some trim.
It is a 1:1 detail of the main pic.
R6m2, RF100-500L, @500mm and MFD, 1/13, 1/400, ISO 1600.

Have you gone mirrorless? Or, rather, you have gone mirrorless!

Yep! The R6m2 arrived last Saturday. I suppose I'll PM you in future about the AF settings.
But even with the slightly adapted defaults, it is performing tremendously.
I suppose I should have been more careful about AFMAing my 5D4.
But the R6m2 sensor is also in another league.

By the way:
You made me win a bet. I said to a friend of mine, that you'd be the first to recognize it ;)

Congratulations and enjoy your new gear! The RF 100-500mm is an awesome lens. May I suggest splashing out on an RF 100-400mm as well - it is very small and light, as well as sharp, and can be taken instead of its big brother when you want less weight, size or conspicuousness.

Thanks! It's fun getting used to it.

It's already on my wish list for travel, etc.
I've ordered it together with my gear for a friend of mine.
So I can get my hands on it even sooner.

o_O Just wow! Just great!
Do you give lessons?
Thank You!
And no lessons needed! Customize the back button focus to eye tracking, choose a good place for DIF, have patience. (And don't be afraid to look ridicules)

do you like Franconia? ;)
Bist Du ein Glubberer oder Kleeblatt? ;-)

Enjoy Your new gear!!!

My workflow form the 5D4 doesn't work yet. I'll have to practice.

Ich bin kein Franke, daher mag ich beide.
Und ich mag Franken (Land und Leute) sehr.
Ich bin auch kein Fischkopp, aber im Zweifel für Werder ;)
Enjoy Your new gear!!!
Thanks.
