I ordered a probe lens a while ago and yesterday it finally arrived! It is even more awkward to use than the MP-E65mm! But I did manage to catch one of the last damselfly larvae before they emerge:

I have ‘kit’ with both the straight and periscope barrels. The 90 degree one is extremely hard to use!

I believe it is a female common whitetail (Plathemis lydia)

Or an immature male common whitetail, since the banding on the wings is different from the female’s wings.

I can't resist these Banded Demoiselles in flight. The R5ii +RF 100-500mm is really good at catching them.
