These photos are from the beach at Rhodes island.
It seems dragons are searching for me. Or I learned where to look
I suppose, it is a male keeled skimmer (orthetrum coerulescens). If someone knows better, please let me know.

Male beautiful demoiselle (calopteryx virgo) poses out of territorial behavior.

Maybe not great, but still good.Nothing good today
Next time, maybe watch the background. A slight shift of angle could have made it much smoother.
Did you recognize the damselfly exuvia at the branch?

I did not see the damselfly!! I really did not put much effort into the shot since I had my heart on finding some new birds.Maybe not great, but still good.

Next time it'll be better again. I always say to myself: "Be happy if you see anything. Be absolutely satisfied if you take one good photo back home!"

The first dragonly of the year where I could get close enough to resolve the facet eyes properly! I did set the flash wrong (EL-100 + cloth diffuser), so heavy adjustments needed in lightroom to make it look less weird.

Not so great angle on a very young dragonfly:
It's classed a 'glascutter' locally, google says it's a 'Hairy Hawker' in English.

And a Public Safetly Announcement for users of the RF100L: the SA Control lock can snap during transport, so keep an eye on the SA ring:

Yesterday, I did more than 300* shots within less than 2 hours. PP will be "fun"
*) a lot of friends, and my wife, say, that I wait too long and don't do "hit and hope". So 300 are many for me.

*) I have to confess it took just less then 4min.
