DSLR filming accessories

can i get some advice, reviews etc on accessories for filming with DSLR's.

the ones which are intresting me are:

1) those scorpion handle stedicam handles
2) shotgun mics
3) Eyecups
4) those lens housings which help with focusing

1) ive seen cheap versions of these, are they any use or a waste of time?
2) any advice on mics?
3) do these eyecups work with the 60d's swivel lcd?
4) i need some good advice on these, is it something im going to need/want and are there any cheaper alternatives?

I suggest that you go to the cinema5d forum. They have lots of information from actual users of the equipment. There is much more there about HDDSLR'S
