It looks really nice .. I'm liking the black / silver combination.

and most definately a M3 replacement.

we have another control dial under the exposure compensation.

Yep. They tweaked some dial positions, but it's nearly dead on for the M3.

(Scaled to hotshoe and lined up on the back lcd edge. EF-M 15-45 is attached. Not perfect, but you get the idea.)

Except we have tri-navi now.. But yes, pretty much the same form factor

Perhaps this is where Canon is going with the M line.

• M10: entry-level APS-C mirrorless model
• M6: enthusiast APS-C mirrorless model
• M5: prosumer APS-C mirrorless model
• M1: prosumer full-frame mirrorless model

My guess would be the same as the M5.

I wouldn't be surprised if they differentiated it a bit more (i.e. not just an M5 with the viewfinder removed).
My guess would be that some specs will be downgraded a bit. Hopefully I'm wrong, or it will be just minor stuff.
