Pays to go through your old files every so often
One of my old 7D photos from 2010 that somehow got overlooked till now, teamed up with a 60mm f2.8 efs
Lost the RAW file, kicking myself now, as I'm sure I deemed it unworthy and deleted it
still have the TIFF at least
My policy now is to keep ALL my RAWs
