Got my X-Pro2 yesterday, the camera I've been waiting a year for. There is nothing the Canon 5D3 can do for me that this new Fuji cannot match or equal.
AF is fast and accurate. The Fuji glass is easily the equivalent or better than Canon. I think the Fuji 56mm is better than the the Canon 85L in every way (and half the price). And the Fuji 90mm is the equal or better than the Canon 135 -- and that was my tipping point (outside of image quality). I love my Canon 135 and could not imagine living without it. With the Fuji 90, I don't have to live without that. And the 50-140 is as sharp as any lens I've seen, and the IS is unbeatable.
And my ultimate bottom line, what drew me to Fuji to begin with is image quality. Canon cannot give me the image quality I get with the Fuji system at this point.
For those who prefer the DSLR form, the X-T2 should be out this summer or fall. It will surely equal or surpass the X-Pro2 performance.
The only similarity between the Canon M and the Fuji X is the word mirrorless. It's like comparing a Little League team to a Major League team.
So, finally the Canon stuff can go. Anyone interested in a well used 5D3 setup?
