G1 X or EOS M?

I'v been thinking about getting a camera that's smaller and more condusive to "walking around" than mu current one is

I've been considering the G1 X and the EOS M, however my only gripe with the M is its limited range of focal ranges...... yes I could use an adapter, but remember I don't want this to be a "big" camera

What I love, is my fujifilm x10, it is a really great camera, the manual zoom is nice and smooth, I'd prefer it over either option.

But of the two, I believe the g1x is more versitie, and it has a viewfinder, I'd prefer it for travel.
Or if you bring your big dslr on vacation, and all you want is a little creative camera, the eos m seems like a really awesome camera, and it will have better iso.

shutter lag would kill it for me and the 1dx await to hear what it is like on the m... if it is bad i am going olympus...
