Gitzo GK2545T-82QD

As so many before I'm looking for a travel tripod, main metric is the folded down length.
Has any one experience with the Gitzo GK2545T-82QD Series 2 Traveler [Folded down 44.5cm; Extended 165.6cm; min hight 33cm; maximum payload 12kg; Weight 1.34 kg]?

I have 4 Gitzo tripods including an old 1550T traveller 1 series. Basically they "Do waht it says on the tin".
I have been quite pleasantly surprised at my 1 series traveller and my gear is somewhat heavier than yours so that 2 series should be more than good enough.
In the past I have tried a number of Gitzo heads and was not impressed, however the one that comes with this tripod is completely new to me so I cannot offer any opinion on it. Perhaps others can help?
