It is f/5.6 with the teleconverter active.
That would be 1 full stop since the RF 200-800 is f/8 at 600 mm.

If one stop is the difference between 1/500 and 1/1000 it's the difference between noticeable blur in the hands and feet or not for many sports.

It never ceases to amaze me how many folks can't wrap their head around the idea that looking at a 50MP image at 100% is a higher magnification than looking at a 24MP image at 100% on the same screen.
