I was so happy with it I bought another with the battery grip. The IQ is awesome for what I do and the AF improvements are also awesome for what I do. The downside was the price and at least I agree there, 2999 was more amenable. However, the shots I'm getting are just as good and I'm getting a higher hit rate than the 5D Mark II for what I'm doing.

So far I'm very happy with mine... it fixes basically everything that drove me crazy about the Mark II. The only thing I don't care for is the new Smart Viewfinder and some other small nit picky items (only USB 2.0, wish custom button configuration offered more options, and I wish it had dual CF slots vs a single CF and a single SD slot).

I love the smart viewfinder.
The grid is great for lining stuff up and making sure you have a straight horizon.
I've found it easy to use after my 60D and the IQ is fabulous.
Just wish it had a pull-out screen like the 60d.
That's about the only thing I can find against it.
