I did a quick commercial production shoot over the holiday weekend with a Canon 1D Mark IV and the IGUS Camera Slider. Skeptical at first, I thought the $150 cinematic tool from IGUS on Amazon performed really well considering the great price.

For a weekend holiday shoot, I have to commend you :) well done, and amazing how little it takes. I'm wondering if the two tripod method you mention would support the 70-200mm?

Anyways, thanks for sharing the tip. I think I just found my next expense x)

Thank you very much for the compliment.

I had a blast making this production with the IGUS camera slider. I see no issues with the weight of the EF70-200 lens on the camera when paired with the slider. I only suggest dual tripod support on the extremes of the slider to handle the weight.

I will be posting future IGUS camera slider productions soon...
