Is 35mm on Crop Wide Enough for Landscape (in many/most cases)?

Would you say that 35mm on a crop will work most of the time for landscape/sunset/etc.? Might not be able to get the foreground subject/nice background effect, but otherwise... (in many cases)?

If it's not turn it to portrait and shoot a stitched panorama

Some use 300mm for landscape. Use the lens that gives you the view you want. There are no fixed rules about landscape.

Annoying but true answer. My best produced landscapes were with the 70-200, mostly at 200.

Indeed....

The first landscape/sunset picture was shot at 600mm.... On the second one, 17mm was not wide enough so I stitched together 18 shots.....

There is no right answer to this question...
