I feel your pain. Digital compositing is a pain but fun. At least you had a good picture to start with, I've always have to fix photos that people take themselves or by amateurs and Fix em a Ton.

Like this poster. Its ok, but the photos they gave me to work with were wretched! A couple of hours fixing and compositing got this small band a decent poster. They liked it and it was alright in my eyes.

I always start with a good image - it makes a much better image almost without exception. It is the beauty of being an amateur I just do as I want
