Occasional beeping AF during AI SERVO?

Recently picked up some new 600 ex rt's and a ste3rt. Fabulous system. But for some reason I've noticed on occasion that when shooting in AI SERVO (and back button focus), I'm getting an occasional red lit AF confirmation. Seems to be more common with the flash set up but I recall very infrequently it happening prior. Body is a 5d3.

Doesn't seem to be a big issue but wondering if anyone else has noticed same?

It pays to check if you were indeed using AI Focus mode? A second possibility would be you've assigned a button to switch from Single point focus to AI Servo in the Custom Fuctions? That's what I did anyway so I can switch quickly when pressing the button. Hope it helps.

I don't think it's either of those but I suppose the button switch is possible. I have set a shortcut button for that. Thanks for that thought... Will keep an eye on it.
