That really depends on a few things. The d7000 will devalue, but the mkii might not. I am one of those 7D users that almost jumped to FF when the prices went down on the mkii, but decided to wait for more mkiii info - so now the prices have gone right back up to $2500 new. Now there's talk that the new camera will be 5d like, but ahead of the 5dmkii - and that the mkii line would just continue -----if thats the case the only reason your mkii will devalue is through more shutter actuation's. the actual value will remain unaturally high becase the market will have been fixed so that the mkii is the only FF option under 3K USD
